"After always living in quaint country cottages, we were excited to move to a 1930’s detached house that certainly is a project! I have always been interested in homeware and interiors, but knew I needed to step outside of our cottage comfort zone, and so enlisted the help of Jane right from the start. While the renovation and extension will take us years, we were keen to tackle things properly, and take some time to think about the feel and flow of the house.
Jane really helped us to do this, and think about how rooms can have different functions and colour schemes, but still flow as a home. She worked quickly with us to fit our timescales, and visited regularly with samples and for progress checks. It was lovely to spend time reviewing her mood boards and she adapted to our budgets and priorities.
Throughout our project we have been keen to use local businesses, so it is great that Jane has a list of trades people. Most importantly, Jane has gently steered us to push ourselves beyond our comfort zone, and has created simply stunning living and bedroom areas… I still pinch myself every evening when I sit down on the sofa and gaze at my pale pink velvet curtains!
Our friends and family think our new home has the wow factor, and we can’t recommend her services highly enough.
We can’t wait to involve Jane in the next phase of our project. I also want to add, whenever we have a dilemma, Mark says “why not ask Jane?”!!!"

"We had never considered working with interior designers before. The main concerns were that the cost would be restrictive, the designers would attempt to force ideas on us, and that they would only show us expensive 'designer' items.
However, choosing to work with Jane and Debbie was the best thing we could have done. They eased us out of our comfort zone by taking the time to get to know us better and getting a feel for the styles and themes we liked, mainly wanting the design to look contemporary but still allow a young family to live in the house and feel it was a home.
We wanted advice on building and structure, in addition to layout and soft furnishings. They were clearly skilled in both, whilst always conscious of our need to find the perfect balance between quality and cost. We wanted to use our own builder for the structural work. Jane and Debbie had no problem with this, immediately forming a good working relationship.

"Having moved to Cheltenham in January 2021, I was delighted to discover that Jane Fleming was living near by. Jane and a colleague of hers had helped us choose decorations and soft furnishings for an extension on our St Albans home a few years earlier.
I promptly engaged Jane again and she has been a life saver in helping us to furnish and style our new home in Cheltenham.
Because of Covid restrictions, early consultations were via zoom but they still enabled us to make a good start during a challenging time. Jane took the trouble to find out about our décor, likes and dislikes and style preferences.
